What is jugger?

Jugger is a 5v5 team field sport that plays like competitive rollespil/LARP: blending elements of fencing, rugby, and capture-the-flag.

Want to know more? Jugger in 45 Seconds and A Game of Jugger demonstrate the basic rules and gameplay. We use our own translation of the German rules for play.

Jugger Copenhagen is Denmark’s first official jugger club! We play weekly together in downtown Copenhagen, and our traveling team, Skøll, regularly visits other countries for tournaments and trainings—especially Germany and Sweden. We look forward to seeing you on the pitch!

Jugger is a relatively new sport, so very few players who join us have previous experience. We are excited to teach you. 🧑🏽‍🏫 We play every Saturday near Trianglen Metro Station; the calendar below has times and map points. Have a peek at photos on Instagram or videos on YouTube!

Want to try it out?

New players are always welcome! When you join us for the first time, please arrive 15 minutes early and contact us two days beforehand ; we’ll get you up to speed. 😊 You are welcome to attend two practices free of charge before deciding if you want to join. Wear sporty clothes (sneakers if inside, sneakers or plastic cleats if outside, a t-shirt, and shorts; kneepads are also nice) and bring water, we do the rest!

Events with Jugger Copenhagen
